Outlook Features

Microsoft Outlook is an application for faculty and staff to access their email and calendars. This article contains instructions on setting up and using it’s basic features. Student workers log in with their student####@ad.uconn.edu or netidwork@uconn.edu and password; faculty/staff log in with their firstname.lastname@uconn.edu and password.

Changing Time Zone In Outlook 2010, 2013, 2016:

  1. Click the File tab
  2. Click Options
  3. Click on the Calendar tab on the left, and under Time Zones write in a name for your current time zone in the “Label” box
  4. In the Time Zone drop-down, select your desired time zone

Changing Language In Outlook 2010, 2013, 2016

  1. Click the File tab
  2. Click the Options tab
  3. Click the Language tab on the left, and under “Choose Display and Help Languages” select a language in the “display language” box
  4. Click Set as Default
  5. Click OK, and click OK again when prompted to restart Outlook
